7y In accordance with 10 CFR 50:30, Florida Power 6 Light Company submits herewith three (3) signed originals and forty (40) copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-31 and DPR-41.
This proposal has been prepared in response to a September 22, 1977 letter from Mr. George Lear of your staff requesting that we submit a proposal to delete the requirement in our Technical Specifications for an Annual Operating Report.
The proposed amend-ment is described below and is shown on the attached Technical Specification pages bearing the date of this letter in the lower right-hand corner.
Pa es 6-16 throu h 6-18 Specification 6.9.1.b (Annual Operating Report) is revised.
The due date for the Monthly Operating Report in Specification 6.9.1..c is revised from the "tenth" to the "fifteenth" of each month following the calendar month covered by the report.
Mr. Lear's letter also requested that we concurrently modify the content of our required Monthly Operating Report in accord-ance with three revised formats which accompanied his September 22 lettex.
We plan to use the revised formats starting with our monthly report for January, 1978.
Along with the three report
- formats, we will provide a monthly "Narrative Summary of Operating Experience" that describes the operation of the facility, including major safety-related'aintenance.
In lieu of the 1977 Annual Operating Report we will submit a one-time only "Narrative Summary of Operating, Experience" for calendar year 1977.
