SUBJECT:

Draft Final Rule, Amendments to Material Control and Accounting Regulations, and Final Draft Guidance for Material Control and Accounting DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, August 28, 2018 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. EST LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

Room 3WFN-01C05 Three White Flint North 11601 Landsdown Street North Bethesda, MD 20852 PURPOSE: The purpose of the meeting is to discuss implementation of the requirements within 180 days after the notice of the final rule is published by the Office of the Federal Register. The discussion will focus on whether there are current or potential challenges that would cause licensees to delay implementation of the final rule.

Participants should be aware that this public meeting is not a further opportunity to comment on the rulemaking and the NRC is not requesting additional comments on the rule.

MEETING MATERIALS: The meeting information and agenda are available for review at www.regulations.gov under Docket ID NRC-2009-0096. The presentation slides and the rule text comparison table will also be available under Docket ID NRC-2009-0096. The final draft regulatory guidance documents will be available for review under Docket ID NRC-2013-0195. The materials will be available under these docket IDs prior to the meeting.
