Dear Mr. Tarver,
On behalf of th~ U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I am responding to your letter dated June 12, 2018, in which you appealed the agency's decision related to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request NRC-2018-000361, which was seeking access to documents prepared in connection with the 30th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)which was held on Aprll 21-23, 2009, in Antalya, Turkey (NRC-2018-000361)
Specifically, you appealed the adequacy of search.
- Acting on your appeal, I have reviewed the records for this case and have confirmed that there
- were no participants at the meeting and no NRC records that are responsive to your request.
As stated in our final response to NRC-2018-000361 to.you, the scope of this request does not fall within NRC's responsibilities. Therefore, I have denied your appeal.
- This is the final agency decision. As set forth.in the FOIA (5 U.S.C. 552(a)(4)(8)), you can seek judicial review of this decision in a district court of the United States in the district in which you reside or have your principal place of business, in the district where the agency's records are situated, or in the District of Columbia.
