[External_Sender] Pubic Comment on Docket ID NRC-2018-0052 I find the NRC Environmental Scoping for the Holtec/ELEA Highly Radioactive Waste Centralized Interim Storage Facility targeted at New Mexico, a completely wrong and dangerous approach to an enormous problem caused primarily by the nuclear industry and the government agencies that have promoted it.
I think the plan is irresponsible and will greatly harm our nation further for centuries to come.
I urge the NRC to actually consider the needs and concerns of the citizens of this nation, before those of industry.
Dont move nuclear waste around. Whenever possible, place existing waste in secure dry cask storage on site where it already exists. Stop producing more nuclear waste now.
