3/30/2018 CITATION# 83 FR 13802 New Mexico does not need another nuclear waste dump. This plan is ill-conceived with "temporary" storage until a better solution is found. Leave it where it is until a better solution is found. Clearly the intent is to put it out in the desert and forget about it. All the cities on the transportation routes should be notified and public hearing held before this is approved. Assurances from the company about how secure their casks are is not enough. Where is the data about their testing? Railroad accidents happen all the time. Transporting highly radioactive waste is too risky.
