PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

Title:

Pre-License amendment application submission meeting to discuss the licensees, New York State Energy Research and Development Authoritys (NYSERDAs), approaches to potentially update its current NRC license.

Date(s) and Time(s): August 09, 2018, 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM Location: NRC Two White Flint North, 5D30 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is a Category 1 meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion of the meeting but before the meeting is adjourned.

Purpose:

NYSERDA requests a pre-amendment meeting with NRC to discuss the options for the possibility of amending its current license to address NYSERDAs short term goal of site maintenance in potentially contaminated areas of the NRC retained premises and to address NYSERDAs long term goal of updating its license to reflect current site conditions and licensing terms relevant to the Western New York Nuclear Service Center going forward (ML18192C159).
