PUBLICATION DATE: 3/30/2018 CITATION# 83 FR 13802 I am writing to express my full opposition to the Holtec International HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility Project for the following reasons:
- 1) New Mexico has already carried to much burden from the nuclear age.
- 2) The waste should remain stored safely on site where it is as that would be the safest option.
- 3) Transportation of the waste will result in accidents and contamination beyond our worst nightmares.
- 4) The Holtec International HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility Project will not be temporary by any means, once the waste arrives it will never be moved. This is unacceptable.
