Holtec International HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility Project Document: NRC-2018-0052-DRAFT-0238 Comment on FR Doc # 2018-10418 Submitter Information Name: Lyndsey Reynolds General Comment To Whom It May Concern, COMMENT (239)

PUBLICATION DATE: 3/30/2018 CITATION# 83 FR 13802 As a West Texas native and family-member of Southeastern New Mexico residents, I strongly urge you to reject the application from Holtec International to build a storage facility for nuclear waste in southeastern New Mexico.

As Holtec International cannot guarantee that there would not be a leak, local residents; including my family, and local resources would be put at risk in the storage of the nuclear waste and in its transportation. The contamination risks to local communities of radiation poisoning, cancer, birth defects, and potentially death should be of utmost concern to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

I do not consent to putting our people, lands, water, and air at such risks. You must reject this application to protect local communities and the environment for future generations.

Sincerely, Lyndsey Reynolds
