I strongly oppose the HOLTEC project coming to New Mexico. I oppose NRC AWARDING A LICENCE to HOLTEC. I believe this proposal Discriminates against the Native American and Hispanic people who have lived in Southern NM for hundreds of years. Crisscrossing the United States on railroads and by truck is unbelievably dangerous and reckless. The CIS site could be a prime target for terrorist attacks. I believe HOSS HARDENED ON-SITE STORAGE IS THE SOLUTION. States that benefited from the facilities with HLW should solve their own problems. NEW MEXICO WILL NOT BE A HLW DUMP because the industries did not plan ahead. I say no to HOLTEC in New Mexico.
Ps the NRC acts like cheerleaders for HOLTEC. Why is that? Shouldn't you be less involved in helping them write the contract they are seeking?
