Dear Mr. Engelken:
The referenced letter transmitted the subject circular.
Our A/E was requested to determine if any Westinghouse type BF or BFD type relays are used on Project WNP-2 equipment.
Investigation has disclosed that'estinghouse Type BFD relays are used in Westinghouse switchgear presently "on site."
In compliance with. IE Circular 76-02, arrangements are being made t'o visually inspect and functionally check safety related relays during post construction checkout.
In addition, these relays will be func-tionally checked during periodic inspection.
