Storage batteries are currently available at Home Depot for under $1500 to outfit every home in America. Responsible corporations are installing their own green energy and green storage. We don't need any more nuclear plants.
Even more important, we oppose building any more nuclear power plants in the US until our country finds a decent place to store the high level waste generated. We in Texas continue to be asked to take the waste from all over the eastern USA. Our facilities are totally unsuitable for this waste. We are not even good for a "temporary" storage site. Don't build any more nuclear plants until the country has settled on a permanent storage facility outside of Texas.
