  • Hello, I live in the community of Duxbury, MA, which is within the EPZ of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, MA. I would like to indicate my support for the comments submitted by the Union of Concerned Scientists on 6/27 /18 as well as the views ofNRC staffer, Harold Chernoff who opposed this plan in his letter to NEI. As a inember of the public who lives within a town in an EPZ, I remain extremely concerned with the poor performance of Pilgrim and the potential threat my children, my neighbors, my community and our entire region live under. This is not the time to make public safety a secondary concern rather established procedures should be followed. I am opposed to unapproved experimentation with nuclear fuel near my community and near every other community that lives in a constant state of vigilance due to the presence of nearby nuclear reactors. I urge you not to finalize and issue the draft letter and to follow established procedures.
