2 BWR'RELIEF VALVE, CONTROL SYSTEM'ND ASSOCIATED CONTAINMENT LOADS Letter S. A. Varga to N. 0. Strand, same subject, dated November 25, 1977 (GI2-77-439)
The referenced letter requested our plans toward achieving resolution of the changes in transient analysis predictions of the sequence and number of relief valves operating with subsequent changes in loads on containment structures
- which, have been identified by General Electric Company.
It is our intention to complete the ev'aluation of the condition for the WPPSS Nuclear Project No.
2 during the first quarter of 1978.
Any modifications required as a result of these analyses would be identified in the WPPSS Nuclear Project No.
2 FSAR during the second quarter of 1978.
Such modifications would be in line with the current General Electn c relief valve control system modifications being discussed with you in regard to GESSAR-238 Nuclear Island.
