Dear Mr. Varga:

The referenced letter requested a schedule for a response to the matters addressed in NUREG-0313, "Technical Report on Material Selec-tion and Processing Guidelines for BWR Coolant Pressure Boundary Piping."

Accordingly, we will provide a response within ninety days of the date of this letter.

The response may be expected to address the following areas:

1)

Degree of conformance and the extent of practical applicability of the reactor coolant pressure boundary piping at WHP-2 to the guidelines stated in Section II of NUREG-0313.

2)

Augmentation of Inservice Inspection Requirements for compliance with Section III of NUREG-0313.

3}

The capabilyties of the reactor coolant leakage detection'ystem with respect to Section III.2.A(2) of'NUREG-0313.
