Notification of the APR1400 Project Manager Replacement With this letter, I inform you that Dr. Han-Gon Kim is leaving the APR1400 project and Mr. Yun-Ho Kim has been assigned as the new Project Manager effective July 4, 2018.
Mr. Yun-Ho Kim has been working on this project since 2010 and brings over thirty-year experience in the design of nuclear power plants. He is a well-qualified person who has worked closely with the NRC during the staffs safety review period, and Im certain he is the right person to support NRC through completion of the APR1400 design approval and rulemaking process.
As Vice President of KHNP Central Research Institute, I will provide necessary support for the project team to keep the review schedule established by the NRC.
