Dear Mr. Gross,

This letter informs the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) of the change to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) cognizant security office (CSO) for NEI from the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response (NSIR), to the Office of Administration (ADM). This change is in effect immediately and requires that NEI begin communicating with the ADM industrial security point of contact all future industrial security related correspondence. The contact information for the ADM industrial security program is:

Denis Brady Email: IndustrialSecurity.Resource@nrc.gov Phone: (301) 415-5768 NSIR has transferred all relevant facility clearance (FCL) documentation to ADM, and the NEI SECRET FCL issued on August 28, 2002, remains in effect. Furthermore, there are no changes to personnel clearances for NEI employees related to this change of CSO. In the next few weeks, members of my staff will be coordinating a meeting with NEI to discuss the industrial security program administered by ADM, and to introduce ways in which we can work together to streamline processes NEI currently follows.

In order to prepare for our upcoming meeting, and to ensure the records transferred to our office are as up-to-date as possible, enclosed is the list of all current NEI staff that have been issued a clearance either reciprocally or directly by the NRC. Please use this list to provide the NRC any changes so we may update records as appropriate.
