ORDER APPROVING INDIRECT TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF LICENSES An Order (EA-18-084) will be issued on or about June 28, 2018, to Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC (Westinghouse), for the indirect transfer of control of U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Materials and Export Licenses held by Westinghouse. Westinghouse submitted an application in which it requested the NRC consent to the indirect transfer of control of its materials and export licenses. The application describes the indirect transfer of Westinghouse from Toshiba Corporation to Brookfield WEC Holdings Inc., which is ultimately controlled by Brookfield Asset Management Inc. The staff determined that Westinghouse provided the necessary information for the NRC to conduct its review and approves the indirect transfer of control, which will not change Westinghouses operations, structure, locations, facilities, equipment, or procedures associated with licensed activities.
It should be noted that the licensee will be informed of the issuance of the Order in accordance with the following schedule:
