Dear Mr. Burch:
The enclosed inspection schedule details inspections to be conducted by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at the BWXT Nuclear Operations Group (NOG), Inc., facility in Lynchburg, VA for calendar year 2019. The inspection schedule is provided to minimize the resource impact on your staff and to allow for the resolution of any scheduling conflicts and personnel availability issues well in advance of inspector arrival onsite.
Please note that inspections related to safeguards are not included in this schedule. In addition, any regional initiative or other reactive inspection is not included. If circumstances arise which cause us to change the dates of the planned inspections, we will contact you to discuss the change as early as possible. Please contact either Noel Pitoniak at (404) 997-4634 or Patricia Glenn at (404) 997-4442 with any questions or concerns you may have regarding this letter or the inspection schedule.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).
