The towns through which the hazardous waste would be routed are incapable of handling a spill or any other accident. The salt caves have not proved impenetrable, and the containers still leak.
Please, work on the technology to render the waste harmless and keep us safe until you do so. "We have nowhere else to put it," is ignoring your responsibility.
