The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) met jointly with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on grid reliability; North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC)
Essential Reliability Services Working Group and Distributed Energy Resources Task Force; critical energy/electric infrastructure information; grid resilience in regional transmission organizations and independent system operators; the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory study on primary frequency control; the FERC-NERC regional entity joint review of restoration and recovery plans and follow-up activities; NRC regulatory overview and nuclear power plant operations; NRC/FERC/NERC interactions; license renewal; decommissioning; new reactors; and cybersecurity activities. The Commissioners were briefed by FERC staff, NRC staff, and a representative of NERC.
