NRC FORM 464 Part I (04-2018)
U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION RESPONSE TO FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA) REQUEST PART I.D -- COMMENTS NRC RESPONSE NUMBER 1
2018-000538 11 1
RE~~~SE D INTERIM I./ I FINAL In an email to you dated May 24, 2018, we informed you that NRC staff located only 20 pages of legacy (historical) records responsive to your request, and that a copy of these records was forwarded to the State of Illinois after it became an Agreement State in 1987. We also informed you that Illinois should have additional (i.e., more current) records responsive to your request. If the NRC processes your request, the billable costs for providing the 20 pages would be $169.08.
Accordingly, we asked whether or not you wanted NRC to process your request by providing you the 20 pages, or by providing you with the contact information for the State of Illinois so that you could request a more complete set of records (including the 20 pages that NRC has) from the state. In your May 24, 2018 response to our email, you told us that you would get back to us by May 31, 2018. Since we have not heard from you, we have chosen to provide you the response for which you will not incur any fees. You may find the contact information for the State of Illinois at the following link: https://
scp.nrc.gov/asdirectory.html#IL. This concludes our processing of your request.
