NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS 50-280/92-15 AND 50-281/92-15
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) special inspection
conducted by Mr. M. Branch of this office on June 23 through July 10, 1992.
The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your Surry
facility.
At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed
with those members of your staff identified_in the enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within -
these areas, the inspection consisted of s~lective examinations of procedures
and representative retords, interviews with personnel, .and observation of *
activities in progress.
Within the scope-of .the inspection, violations or deviations were not
identified.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.796 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice", a copy of this
letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
