UPDATE OF EVACUATION TIMES FOR OFFSITE POPULATIONS IN.THE EVENT OF EMERGENCY As.you may be aware, the U.S. Government Department of Commerce Bureau pf the
- Census has released 1990 census data which should be available in your area.
In addition to general census data there may be available local population growth projections.
A regional survey indicates a number of facilities have*
not as~ yet incorporated updated 1 oca 1 population data into their Emergency Pliris or updated their offsite evacuation times as appropriate to changes in -
population.
If you have not already done so, you are encouraged to use these population stu9ies to update your Emergency Plan and offsite evacuation times associated with the zones within the ten mile Emergency Preparedness Zone.
