DPR-37 Surry Unit 2 recently completed inservice inspection of the "A" and "C" steam generators during the 1991 refueling outage. As required by the provisions of paragraph 4.19(F)(a) of Surry Technical Specifications, this letter provides notification of the tubes that were plugged during this inspection.
For steam generator "A", no tubes were plugged as a result of this inspection.
However, one tube (R41, C28) that was previously plugged was replugged in response to NRC Bulletin 89-01 concerns.
Another tube (R41, C27) that was previously plugged on the hot tube end in error was deplugged, tested, and returned to service.
For steam generator "C", no tubes were plugged as a result of this inspection.
