This refers to the special outage inspection conducted by W. E. Holland of this*
office on November 11, 1990 through January 5, 1991_.
The inspection included a
review of activities authorized for your Surry facility.
At the conclusion of
the inspection, the findings were discussed with those member? of 1our staff.

Areas examined during the inspection included activities tnvolvtng the 1990
Unit 1 refueling *outage.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of p~oc~dures and representativ~ records, interviews
with persohnel, and observatiori of activities in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection, violations or deviations- were not
identified.
