50-280 50-281 License Nos. DPR-32 DPR-37 Our January 31, 1984 letter, Serial Number 053, indicated which R.G. 1.97 variables would be installed and where the indication would be available.
During a review of the computer points associated with the Emergency Response Facility Data Acquisition System (ERFDAS), we identified two variables, (D-34)
Emergency Ventilation Damper Position and (D-35E) 120 Vac Semi-Vital Bus Status, that do not provide indication to all the locations specified in our January 31, 1984 letter.
Indication of these variables is provided in the control room, but several specific damper positions and semi-vital bus voltage were inadvertently omitted from the ERFDAS and do not indicate in the Technical Support Center (TSC) and Local Emergency Operations Facility (LEOF). identifies the specific dampers and semi-vital bus that were not included in the ERFDAS.
A design change package has been initiated and the remaining damper positions and emergency bus voltages will be included in the ERFDAS. Indication will be available in the TSC and LEOF after the 1990 refueling outages for both Surry Units 1 and 2.
