DPR-32 Surry Unit 1 completed eddy current examination of two steam generators during the recent 1988 refueling outage.

A total of 894 tubes in steam generator 118 11 and 895 tubes in steam generator 11C 11 were inspected.

As required by the provisions of paragraph 4.19(F)(a) of Surry Technical Specifications, this letter provides notification that no tubes were plugged in either of these steam generators. This action is supported by the interpretation of eddy current data which indicates that no tubes required plugging as defined in section 4.19(E)(a).
