SUMMARY

OF EVENTS REPORTED TO THE NRC BY VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY 1/1/93 THROUGH 6/30/93 During a review of blind performance test results, a sample which had screened "positive" for amphetamines at the onsite testing facility tested "negative" at the HHS-certified laboratory. The HHS-certified laboratory provided an explanation of this incident and it was forwarded to the NRC in our letter (Serial No.93-138) dated March 22, 1993.

During a review of blind performance test results, a sample which had screened "positive" for methaqualone at the onsite testing facility tested "negative" at the HHS-certified laboratory. The HHS-certified laboratory provided an explanation of this incident and it was forwarded to the NRC in our letter (Serial No.93-284) dated June 2, 1993.
