SUBJECT:
TASK INTERFACE AGREEMENT (TIA 94-009) - VIRGINIA POWER'S STUDY CONDUCTED ON SURRY AND NORTH ANNA MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKERS WHICH EXCEED FAULT CURRENT RATINGS (TAC NOS. M88797, M88798, M88799, AND M88800)
By memorandum dated February 15, 1994, Ellis W. Merschoff requested assistance in evaluating Virginia Power's analyses which were done to justify the use of molded case circuit breakers in applications which exceed their manufacturer's fault current rating at the Surry and North Anna Power Stations.
Our evaluation of the above-cited analyses, including supplemental information from the licensee dated September 16, 1994, (copy enclosed), is described in the attachment.
We have completed our efforts on this issue and are, therefore, closing out TAC Nos. M88797, M88798, M88799, and M88800.
