SURRY POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - SAFETY EVALUATION REGARDING CLOSE OUT OF THE DETAILED CONTROL ROOM DESIGN REVIEW REASSESSMENT (TAC NOS. M84511 AND M84512)
Dear Mr. O'Hanlon:
By NRC letter dated April 21, 1993, we identified one Human Engineering Deficiency, HED No. 20A012, regarding safety-related legend lights with single filament bulbs that are normally not illuminated, and we requested additional information in order to continue our review.
By letters dated May 24, 1994, and July 28, 1994, you submitted supplemental information, and based upon our enclosed Safety Evaluation of this information, we find that you have resolved our concern on this one remaining HED.
It is requested that you inform us, in writing, when all safety significant HEDs have been completed, at which time we will close out TAC Nos. M84511 and M84512.
