This refers to the inspection conducted by R. P. Carrion.of this office on
August 8 - 12, 1994.
The inspection included a review of activities
authorized for your Surry facility. " At the cone l us ion of the inspection, the
findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the
- report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in _the report.* Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examin~tions of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations we~e
identified.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and iti enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Do~ument Room.
