NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-280/94-11 AND 50-281/94-11
Thank you for your response of June 24, 1994, to our Notice of Violation
issued on May 26, 1994, concerning activities conducted at your Surry
facility.
Your response stated that a Root Cause Evaluation (RCE) was being performed
and actions to address RCE recommendations were being evaluated by management
for implementation. A more detailed explanation of your planned corrective
actions and implementation schedule will be needed for us to complete our
review of this issue.
Based on a June 30, 1994, telephone conversation
between Mr. M. Bowling of your staff and Mr. G. Belisle of my staff, we
understand that you will provide a supplemental response containing the needed
information to us by September 16, 1994.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
