NRC EXAMINATION REPORT NOS. 50-280/95-300 AND 50-281/95-300
Gentlemen:
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) administered
examinations led by James H. Moorman, III during the period March 20-24, 1995.
The examinations were administered to employees of your company who had
applied for licenses to operate the Surry Power Station Units I and 2.
At the
conclusion of the examination, the examinations and preliminary findings were
discussed with those members of your staff identified in the NRC Examination
Report, Enclosure 1.
A Simulator Facility Report is included in this report as Enclosure 2.
A copy
of the written examination questions and answer key, as noted in Enclosure 3,
was provided to members of your training staff at the conclusion of the
examination.
In October 1992 and June 1994, seven candidates and nine candidates,
respectively, from your facility participated in the Generic Fundamentals
Examination.
All candidates passed the examination.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of, Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
