FINAL FEMA EXERCISE REPORT FOR THE JUNE 14, 1995 EXERCISE AT THE SURRY POWER STATION
Dear Mr. O'Hanlon:
Enclosed is the report from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) dated August 29, 1995, regarding the June 14 1995 Surry Power Station Exercise.
One Deficiency concerning the inability to coordinate the formulation and dissemination of accurate information and instructions to the public was identified. Twenty-one Areas Requiring Corrective Actions (ARCAs) were also identified. The identified Deficiency was corrected during a remedial exercise.
We encourage you to work with State and local agencies on the implementation of these recommendations before the next full-scale exercise.
