O'Hanlon Senior Vice President-Nuclear Innsbrook Technical Center 5000 Dominion Boulevard Glen Allen, VA 23060 SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-280/95-17 AND 50-281/95-17 Dear Mr. O'Hanlon: This refers to the inspection conducted on September 3 through October 14, 1995, at the Surry Power Station .. The purpose of the inspection was to determine whether activities authorized by the licenses were conducted safely and in accordance with NRC requirements. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff id~~tified in the enclosed report. Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within .these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress . Within the scope of the inspection,. cited violations or deviations were not identified. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice", a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. Docket Nos. 50-280, 50-281 License Nos.
