MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - PREDECISIONAL ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE SURRY NUCLEAR STATION - DOCKET NOS. 50-280, 50-281.
Dear Mr. O'Hanlon:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. D. Sommers of your staff and Mr. G. Belisle on February 20, 1997, concerning a predecisional enforcement conference which has been scheduled for March 11, 1997, from 10:00 a.m.. until 12:00 m.
The purpose of this conference is to discuss the issues related to our inspection of your implementation of 10 CFR 50.65, "Requirements for Monitoring the Effectiveness of Maintenance at Nuclear Power Plants." Our inspection report 50-280, 281/97-01 is being transmitted to you separately. The location of the conference will be at 101 Marietta Street, N.W., Atlanta, Georgia, 29th Floor Conference Room.
This meeting is an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
In correspondence to you dated February 14, 1997, this meeting was originally scheduled to be conducted on March 12, 1997.
