50-280 50-281 50-338 50-339 DPR-32 DPR-37 NPF-4 NPF-7 In your letters dated August 11 and 12, 1988, Virginia Electric and Power Company was requested to address an open item _from the masonry block wa 11 safety eva 1 uat ion that was provided by the NRC.
The response to the open item was to be provided within 60 days.
Late in the response period, we requested additional information to clarify the points made in the safety evaluation reports.
As a result, a two-week extension to the due date was granted.
It was agreed that a conference call would be scheduled with the NRC to resolve our req~est for information.
In recent conversations with the NRC Project Managers, the extension has been modified such that the response to the open item will be provided within two weeks' of the proposed conference call.
