License Nos.88-058 50-280 50-281 50-338 50-339 DPR-32 DPR-37 NPF-4 NPF-7 NRC Generic Letter 88-02, dated January 20, 1988, requested a response to a survey regarding our interest in participating in the proposed Integrated Safety Assessment Program II (ISAP II).
Our response for both the Surry and North Anna Power Stations is attached.
In summary, Virginia Electric and Power Company is not interested in participating in ISAP II at this time.
Because of the relationship between the ISAP II and the eventual requirement to perform Individual Plant Evaluations (IPEs), we prefer to determine the course of action we will take in response to the IPE requirement before considering participation in the ISAP II.
