COMMENTS ON PROPOSED POLICY STATEMENT ON INTEGRATED SCHEDULES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF PLANT MODIFICATIONS Serial No.87-778 NO/RCB:jmj Virginia Electric and Power Company appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Commission's proposed policy statement on Integrated Schedules for Implementation of Plant Modifications (52FR45344 of November 27, 1987).
We have been active in the deve 1 opment of Integrated Schedules for our power stations at North Anna and Surry.
A request for license amendment was submitted for North Anna Power Station on December 11, 1985 and for Surry Power Station on December 31, 1985.
Virginia Electric and Power Company concurs with the comments provided by the Nuclear Management and Resources Council (NUMARC).
We look forward to participating in further dialogue between NUMARC and the Commis'sion in the efforts to develop the integrated scheduling process.
We believe this process will make a major contribution toward understanding of issues relative to both Commission and utility identified plant modifications.
Very truly yours,
