DPR-32 DPR-37 GENERIC LETTER 83-28, REACTOR PROTECTION SYSTEM SURVEILLANCE SUPPLEMENT TO PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Virginia Electric and Power Company requested an amendment, in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications, to Operating License Nos. DPR-32 and DPR-37 for Surry Power Station Units 1 and 2 as described in our letter dated May 22, 1987, Serial Number 87-212.
Based on a telephone conversation with Mr. D. Lasher and Mr. C. Patel of the NRC staff, we are submitting supplemental pages for the May 22,
- 1987, Technical Specification change request.
These supplemental pages do not change the intent of the original Technical Specification change request, but provide clarification of "required operator actions," for Numbers SA and 11 on pages 3.7-13c and d.
The supplemental pages have been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and the Safety Eva 1 uat ion and Centro 1 Staff.
It has been determined that the previous 1 y submitted eva 1 uat ions for both 50.59 and 50.92 remain valid and unchanged by this minor clarification.
