- 1) Notice Regarding New Intermediate Parent Company ( dated February 17, 2017); Outgoing Correspondence LES-18-028-NRC.
Pursuant to Reference 1, UUSA is hereby notifying the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of the completed internal restructuring that has taken place within the corporate chain above Louisiana Energy Services, LLC (LES) dba URENCO USA (UUSA).
The planned restructuring detailed in Reference 1 has been completed. URENCO USA Holdings, Limited ("UUHL") was formed February 28, 2018, and was formally placed within the URENCO Group*as of April 13, 2018. The new parent company name in previous correspondence was referred to as "Newco", which has since been replaced with "URENCO USA Holdings, Limited (UUHL)".
UUSA does not believe that this internal restructuring involved any direct or indirect transfer of control of UUSA's NRC license that would require prior NRC approval pursuant to 10 CFR 70.36.
