"AMSAC Generic Design Package", and a schedule for implementation following the staff's approval of our plant specific design. Providing the schedule for addressing the plant specific design features is an addition to our previous commitments for this issue, as stated in our letter of April 10, 1986 (Serial No. 85-316A~.
In our letter of April 10, 1986 Virginia Electric and Power Company committed to provide a schedule for the AMSAC design and implementation within six months of the issuance of the NRC Safety Evaluation Report for Westinghouse Owner's Group * (WOG)
Topical Report WCAP-10858, "AMSAC Generic Design Package."
Accordingly, our schedule for the design and implementation will be submitted by January 7, 1987, based on the July 7, 1986 issue date of the SER.
We will also provide the scheduler information requested by your September 23, 1986 letters in our January 7, 1987 submittal.
Our schedule for engineering and final implementation.
will be consistent with the program being developed for our Integrated Implementation Schedule.
Design details will not be provided in. our January 7, 1987 submittal.
This point is noted because we are currently reassessing our selection of design options based on our review of the final SER.
