License Nos.86-499 50-280 50-281 50-338 50-339 DPR-32 DPR-37 NPF-4 NPF-7 IE Bulletin No. 86-02 required all licensees to submit a report on the extent to which SOR Model 102 or 103 differential pressure switches are installed (or planned) as electrical equipment important to safety, as defined in 10 CFR 50.49(b).
Virginia Electric and Power Company has reviewed IE Bulletin 86-02 and has determined that SOR, Inc. Series 102 and 103 differential pressure switches are not installed at North Anna or Surry Power Stations in safety related applications.
This determination is based on a review of the Equipment Qualification Master List (EQML) for both North Anna and Surry, a discussion with SOR, Inc.
and a review of outstanding equipment purchase orders. This investigation concludes that we have not purchased or planned to purchase the series 102 or 103 differential pressure switches from SOR, Inc. for use in our nuclear power stations.
