INTEGRATED IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE (IIS)

In our letter dated December 11, 1985 (Serial No.85-836), Virginia Electric and Power Company indicated that we would be submitting Schedule A and B implementation schedules at a later date for our IIS license amendment.

These schedules are provided in Attachment 1 and represent our proposed schedule for completing the identified work activities. The completion schedule for several of these activities has not been formally discussed with your staff and will be the subject of future correspondence.

In order to.discuss the proposed schedules in conjunction with our total station modification plans for the next three years, we would like to meet with the appropriate NRG staff in April 1986.

We will be contacting the NRG Licensing Project Manager for Surry to arrange a mutually acceptable time.

If you have any questions or would like additional information to support this effort, please contact us.

Unit 1 will require extension to 9/86 to complete out of con-tainment work for core exit thermocouples and a one time waiver to Surry Unit 1 Technical Specification 3.7F.

(2) Completion date coincident with completion of 1988 refuelings for 4 variables committed to in VEPCO letter, 5/10/85, SN 85-123A.

Any further requirements based on further review by the NRC or VEPCO will have implementation schedules based on completion of a prelimi,nary engineering study.
