Berkow in his letter of February 18, 1986, Virginia Electric and Power Company has reviewed the basis for withholding information in Topical Report VEP-NFE-2A from public disclosure.

As stated in our original transmittal letter, Serial No. 657, dated November 23, 1983, the information to be withheld from public disclosure is proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

The proprietary request was supported by a previously submitted Westinghouse affidavit.

A copy of that affidavit, CAW-83-90, was attached to the Topical Report.

Virginia Electric and. Power Company therefore requests that the proprietary designation for VEP-NFE-2A be. continued while the Westinghouse affidavit is valid.

Correspondence with r,espect to the supporting Westinghouse affidavit should reference CAW-83-90 and be addressed to Mr.
