Hello, As a 45 year resident of Lea County I would like to express that I am currently not for the HI-STORE storage facility in New Mexico. Although our leaders seem well informed on the detail of the project as expressed in our town meeting, I feel that average citizens need more information via more meetings, or newspaper, or radio ads. I have heard of the positive things it will bring Lea County, things like income, but what about the things that could go wrong. Why aren't they being addressed? If other states are trying to "get rid" of the waste in their states, then I feel that the High-Level Nuclear Waste is something I don't want in mine. Many people view New Mexico as a desolate landscape that is lowly populated compared to the rest of the U.S.so it's a great place to dump and store waste, but New Mexico is beautiful in it's own right and deserves to be preserved as well. Please consider the cost to the people and the lands of New Mexico and do not put High-Level Nuclear Waste in our backyard.

Thank you, Dawny Kringel Page 1 of 1 05/24/2018 https://www.fdms.gov/fdms/getcontent?objectId=09000064832a34ac&format=xml&showorig=false 46/4*3FWJFX$PNQMFUF
