License Nos.85-510 50-280 50-281 50-338 50-339 DPR-32 DPR-37 NPF-4 NPF-7 Generic Letter 85-12, dated June 28, 1985, requested a schedule for submittal of the information requested in section IV of your Safety Evaluation (SE) for Westinghouse Owners Group Reactor Coolant Pump Trip.
This letter is to confirm that Virginia Electric and Power Company endorses the WOG methodology and to provide the requested schedule.
The requirements of paragraph IV A., "Determination of RCP Trip Criteria,"
and of paragraph IV B., "Potential Reactor Coolant Pump Problems," will be developed by our Engineering and Construction Department. The results of the responses to paragraphs IV A and B will then be utilized to develop the requirements of paragraph IV C., "Operator Training and Procedures (RCP Trip)."
We will forward the requested information contained in paragraphs IV A, Band C of your Safety Evaluation by February 15, 1986.
