COBP.'85IM Rcpt.llcff ilail Sectlsa Cb Docket No. 50-244 APPLXCATION FOR AMENDMENT TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Atomic Energy Commission, Rochester Gas 6 Electric Cor-poration
(."RGGE"), holder of Provisional Operating License No. DPR-18, hereby requests that Section 3.3.1.l.b of the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that License be amended to increase the indicated water level in the accumulators to conform to accident analysis assumptions used by Applicant's nuclear steam system supplier, Westing-house Electric Corporation.
The proposed technical specification change and a safety evaluation, which demonstrates that the proposed change does not. involve a significant hazards consideration, are set forth in Attachment A.
The proposed change would not authorize any change in the types or any increase in the

amounts of effluents or any change in the authorized power level of the facility.
WHEREFORE, Applicant respectfully requests that Attachment A to Provisional Operating License No.
DPR-18 be amended in the form attached hereto as Attachment A.
