DPR-32 DPR-37 In our July 6, 1984 letter (Serial No. 381), we committed to submit the Phase 2 information for Surry's Appendix R fire protection reanalysis by September 14, 1984.
The Phase 2 information consisted of descriptions of modifications and exemption requests not included in the July 6 letter.
Many of those items were still pending resolution of similar concerns already discussed with the NRC on North Anna.
Because of resource limitations, the effort necessary to support Appendix R work for North Anna, and the impact of the resolution of several Appendix R issues at North Anna on Surry, the Surry Phase 2 information will now be submitted no later than November 30, 1984.
This change has been discussed with the NRC Surry Project Manager.
