DPR-32 DPR-37 VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 NUREG-0737 ITEM II.F.1.3 In our revision 3 response to NUREG-0737, dated June 28, 1982, Vepco stated that the final in-situ calibration of the Containment High Range Radiation Monitors will be performed during the first scheduled outage after availability of a calibration system to Vepco.
The vendor of the Containment High Range Radiation Monitors (Victoreen) does not have a source available to perform the final in-situ calibration.
Victoreen has expedited the development of a prototype calibration source to calibrate this system but it is not available to Vepco.
Vepco has been notified by Victoreen that the source to perform the finai in-situ calibration will be available to comply with a September 30, 1984 completion date.
The status of NUREG-0737, Item II.F.1.3 will be updated in revision 4 of NUREG-0737 which is scheduled for completion by March 31, 1983.
